Birther Party, 2012! Oh wait, the Republican Party is already the birther party…
New rule: contrary to what Republican candidates always sell, business experience does not make someone a good President. Honestly, do you people really wanna get in this argument with me? George Bush had business experience. There — I win. Now shut up before I mention Donald Trump, the business genius who’s filed for bankruptcy more times than MC Hammer. By the way, you know what makes a really great businessman? When your father has $400 million, and dies. Or as Trump calls it, ‘The Art Of The Deal.’
…You see, businessmen generally make lousy political leaders, because government isn’t about turning a profit: it’s about taking care of things that shouldn’t have to turn a profit. You can’t make everything better with business. …So Mitt (Romney), instead of pointing out your business experience, try using the fact that you were the Governor of Massachusetts, the most educated state in the country, and your main accomplishment was universal healthcare. Then again, you’re trying to appeal to the Republican base, so you’ll have to do that in a way that avoids mentioning ‘Massachusetts,’ ‘universal healthcare,’ or ‘smart people.’

Donald Trump and Sarah Palin eat pizza wrong — with a knife and fork. But we’d expect nothing less.

Damn elitists in their ivory towers.
Obama knows how to get it done…
If you want to get an idea of how bad Donald Trump’s political standing was by the end of his abortive run for President consider this- a national poll we conducted last week found that he would trail Dennis Kucinich 40-36 in a hypothetical contest.
On that poll we found that there were more Republicans (15%) willing to vote for Kucinich than there were Democrats (14%) willing to vote for Trump. And Kucinich took independents by a 40-38 margin as well…
For all of that Trump is not the weakest Republican in the two hypothetical match ups we tested with Dennis Kucinich. Kucinich’s lead over Sarah Palin if they were to face off would be 43-36. In that scenario Kucinich gets 16% of Republicans to Palin’s 12% of Democrats and leads her by 10 points with independents at 42-32.
Obviously none of these match ups will ever happen but we were trying to get a gauge of just how weak these two Republican contenders would be and I think the fact that voters would take Dennis Kucinich over either of them gives us our answer.
…[I]n addition to the above Gallup findings, Public Policy Polling finds Trump has dropped to a meager 8 percent in a 2012 GOP primary matchup, tied for fifth place with Ron Paul. As Dave Weigel notes, Trump’s numbers are “collapsing like a poorly built McMansion.”
“Donald J. Trump today informed the Indianapolis Motor Speedway that he may be announcing shortly his intention to run for the office of President of the United States, and therefore he thought it would be inappropriate to drive the Pace Car for the 100th anniversary running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 29,” the Speedway stated in a press release Thursday.
Trump’s decision comes after a Facebook group called “We Don’t Want Donald Trump to Drive the Indy 500 Pace Car” was formed by Indianapolis attorney Michael Wallack. Currently, over 17,000 people “like” the page, which says it seeks to “Bump Trump.”
The Donald’s decision to pull out of the race may be unrelated to the opposition, but some may argue otherwise.
“The honor of driving the pace car has been reserved for those involved with motor sports or those who have become national heroes. Trump, on the other hand, is primarily a businessman whose principal businesses are self-promotion and gambling. But most problematic of all is his recent descent into the ‘birther’ movement,” the Facebook page claims.
Trump Won’t Drive Indy 500 Pace Car
This comes only hours after a Trump spokesperson said “there are no plans to bow out over this politically-motivated movement.”
“It’s like in golf. A lot of people — I don’t want this to sound trivial — but a lot of people are switching to these really long putters, very unattractive,” said Mr. Trump, a Republican. “It’s weird. You see these great players with these really long putters, because they can’t sink three-footers anymore. And, I hate it. I am a traditionalist. I have so many fabulous friends who happen to be gay, but I am a traditionalist.
Trump: Gays should not be allowed to marry because putters are too long. Wait, what?
